What We Offer

Support designed for
how your child actually works.

Every service we offer is built around one belief: your child's challenges are not character flaws. They're skill gaps — and skills can be built.

Student Support Plan Consultations

So you walk into that meeting knowing exactly what to ask.

Section 504, Individualized Education Plan (IEP) & Gifted Education Planning — these plans can change your child's entire school experience, but most parents walk into those meetings unprepared and outnumbered. We help you understand what each plan means, review your child's current plan for gaps, and prepare you to advocate confidently at every meeting. Whether your child has a disability, is gifted, or is twice-exceptional, we make sure the plan actually fits your child.

  • Plain-language review of your child's current IEP, 504, or EP
  • Pre-meeting prep: what to ask, what to listen for, what to push back on
  • Understanding the difference between 504, IEP, and Gifted EP
  • Support for twice-exceptional students (gifted + disability)
  • Guidance on requesting evaluations, amendments, and re-evaluations

“Before working with The LAUNCH Project, my son would shut down completely at homework time. Within a few weeks he had a system that actually worked for him — and for the first time in years, evenings at home felt calm.”

Frequently Asked Questions

If you do not see your question here, bring it to the free consultation — no question is too small.

Executive functioning coaching helps students build the skills that school assumes they already have — organization, time management, task initiation, planning, and emotional regulation. It is designed for students who are capable but struggling to translate that capability into consistent performance. It is especially effective for neurodivergent and twice-exceptional learners.

Tutoring focuses on academic content — helping a student understand math or writing. Executive functioning coaching focuses on the underlying skills that make learning possible: how a student manages their time, starts tasks, organizes their materials, and regulates their emotions. Many students who struggle academically do not have a content problem — they have a systems problem.

Yes. Many of the students we work with have IEPs or 504 plans. We can coordinate with school teams as needed and help families understand how coaching complements the supports already in place. We also offer parent advocacy support specifically for navigating IEP and 504 processes.

A Section 504 plan provides accommodations to remove learning barriers — things like extended time, preferential seating, or reduced homework load. An IEP (Individualized Education Program) goes further: it includes specialized instruction, measurable goals, and more formal legal protections under federal IDEA law. In Florida, IEPs are generally more comprehensive and legally binding. If your child is both gifted and has a disability, they may qualify for a combined IEP that addresses both enrichment and support needs.

In Florida, students identified as gifted receive an Educational Plan (EP) — not an IEP — unless they also have a qualifying disability. The EP focuses on acceleration, enrichment, and building on your child's strengths. It is reviewed every three years for K-8 students and every four years for high schoolers. If your child is twice-exceptional (gifted and has a disability like ADHD or dyslexia), they qualify for a full IEP that combines gifted enrichment goals with disability-related accommodations.

Every student is different. Some families see meaningful progress in 8–12 weeks; others benefit from longer-term support as their child moves through new academic demands. We discuss timelines during the free parent consultation and revisit them regularly as your child grows.

We offer both virtual and in-person sessions. Virtual coaching is available to families throughout Florida and nationwide. In-person sessions are available in select Florida locations. We will discuss what works best for your family during the consultation.

Parent coaching sessions are 1:1 conversations focused on you — your concerns, your communication with your child's school, and the strategies you can use at home. We help you develop language, build confidence, and create practical systems that reduce daily friction for your whole family.

That is exactly what the free parent consultation is for. We will listen to what is happening, ask questions, and help you identify which type of support makes the most sense. There is no pressure and no commitment — just a focused conversation about your child.

Student Transition Services supports students navigating major academic shifts — moving between schools, entering high school, or preparing for post-secondary life. We help students and families build the planning skills, self-advocacy tools, and practical systems needed to make those transitions successfully. Sessions can include the student, the parent, or both.

Yes — Home School Parent Support is one of our dedicated service areas. We help homeschooling parents design learning environments that work for their neurodivergent child, integrate executive functioning skills into daily home learning, and build sustainable routines and pacing structures. Whether you are just starting out or have been homeschooling for years, we can help you feel more confident and effective.

We are an approved Step Up For Students provider, which means some of our services may be eligible for scholarship funding — but not all services are automatically covered. Coverage depends on your specific scholarship type (such as the Family Empowerment Scholarship or the Gardiner Scholarship) and your child's individual plan. We strongly recommend confirming eligibility directly with your scholarship program before enrolling. We are happy to provide documentation or answer questions to help you through that process.
