Why families in Orlando choose us.

Orlando families face unique challenges. Between competitive magnet programs, specialized charter schools, and the demands of growing suburban districts, many capable students fall through the cracks. We work with families in Orlando, Winter Park, Oviedo, and throughout Orange and Seminole counties to provide personalized executive functioning coaching and parent advocacy that actually fits your child's needs — not a one-size-fits-all approach. Whether your child attends an Orange County public school, a Seminole County charter, or you homeschool in the Orlando area, we help students build the skills that school assumes they already have: organization, time management, task initiation, planning, and emotional regulation. We also support parents navigating IEPs, 504 plans, and Gifted EPs in Central Florida school districts.

Common Questions — Orlando

Questions families in Orlando ask us.

We offer both. In-person sessions are available for families in the greater Orlando area, including Winter Park, Oviedo, Lake Mary, and Altamonte Springs. Virtual sessions are available to all Orlando-area families and across Florida. Many families choose a mix of both — in-person for initial assessments and virtual for ongoing coaching.

Absolutely. We regularly support Orlando families navigating Orange County Public Schools' IEP and 504 processes. We help you review your child's current plan, identify gaps, prepare for meetings, and understand your rights under Florida and federal law. We've worked with families across OCPS, Seminole County, and Osceola County school districts.

Yes. We support students from all types of schools in the Orlando area — public, private, charter, and homeschool. While private schools are not required to provide IEPs, many offer service plans or learning support programs. We help parents understand what their child is entitled to and how to communicate effectively with any school team.

Yes — we are an approved Step Up For Students provider. Orlando families who qualify for the Family Empowerment Scholarship or the Unique Abilities scholarship may be able to use those funds for executive functioning coaching and parent advocacy services. We recommend confirming your specific eligibility with Step Up before enrolling, and we are happy to provide any documentation you need.

We work with students from elementary school through college and young adulthood. Whether your child is in an Orange County elementary school, a Seminole County middle school, or preparing for UCF or Valencia College, we tailor our coaching to their developmental stage and current challenges.

Tutoring focuses on academic content — math, reading, test prep. Our coaching focuses on the underlying skills that make learning possible: organization, time management, task initiation, planning, and emotional regulation. Many Orlando students who struggle academically do not have a content problem — they have a systems problem. We fix the system, not just the subject.
