Why families in Miami choose us.

Miami families face a fast-paced, competitive educational environment. From Miami-Dade County Public Schools' magnet and charter options to private schools in Coral Gables and Doral, parents have choices — but finding the right support for a neurodivergent or twice-exceptional child can still feel overwhelming. We serve Miami families with executive functioning coaching that builds real, lasting skills: organization, time management, task initiation, planning, and emotional regulation. Whether your child attends a Miami-Dade public school, a private academy in Pinecrest, or you homeschool in Kendall, we meet them where they are. We also guide South Florida parents through IEPs, 504 plans, and Gifted EPs with the knowledge and confidence to advocate effectively in any school setting.

Common Questions — Miami

Questions families in Miami ask us.

Yes, we regularly support families in the Miami-Dade County Public Schools system — one of the largest school districts in the country. We help parents navigate the complexity of M-DCPS IEPs, 504 plans, and Gifted EPs, including preparing for meetings, reviewing documentation, and understanding your rights under Florida and federal special education law.

Absolutely. Many Miami families choose private schools in Coral Gables, Pinecrest, Doral, and other areas. While private schools are not legally required to provide IEPs, many offer learning support plans or accommodations. We help you understand what your child is entitled to, how to communicate effectively with private school teams, and how coaching can complement any existing support.

We offer both. In-person sessions are available for Miami, Coral Gables, Doral, Miami Beach, and nearby South Florida communities. Virtual coaching is available across Florida and nationwide. Many Miami families find virtual sessions especially convenient given traffic and scheduling demands, while in-person sessions work well for initial assessments.

Yes — twice-exceptional students are a core focus of our practice. Miami has a strong gifted education landscape, and many gifted students also have ADHD, dyslexia, or other learning differences. We help Miami families navigate the complexity of advocating for both enrichment and support, whether in Miami-Dade public schools, Broward County, or private academies.

Yes, many Miami families qualify. We are an approved Step Up For Students provider, and eligible families in Miami-Dade and Broward counties may be able to use Family Empowerment Scholarship or Unique Abilities scholarship funds for our coaching and advocacy services. We recommend confirming your specific eligibility with Step Up before enrolling, and we can provide any needed documentation.

Tutoring focuses on academic content — math, reading, test prep. Our executive functioning coaching focuses on the skills that make learning possible: how to start tasks, manage time, organize materials, regulate emotions, and plan ahead. Many Miami students are bright but struggle because they lack these foundational skills. We build those skills so your child can thrive in Miami's competitive academic environment.
