Executive Functioning Coaching Gainesville | ADHD & Student Support
ADHD and executive functioning support for students and families in North Central Florida.
The LAUNCH Project FL offers executive functioning coaching, ADHD student support, and parent advocacy for families in Gainesville, Ocala, and throughout Alachua and Marion counties.
Why families in Gainesville choose us.
Gainesville families navigate a unique educational landscape — from Alachua County Public Schools to the University of Florida's influence on academic culture, expectations run high. For neurodivergent and twice-exceptional students in Gainesville, Newberry, and surrounding North Central Florida communities, executive functioning challenges can make even simple school days feel overwhelming. We provide personalized coaching that builds the skills school assumes students already have: organization, time management, task initiation, planning, and emotional regulation. Whether your child attends an Alachua County public school, a private school in Gainesville, or you homeschool in Marion County, we create systems that work for your child's brain. We also support North Central Florida parents navigating IEPs, 504 plans, and Gifted EPs with the confidence to advocate effectively at every school meeting.

Questions families in Gainesville ask us.
Yes, we regularly support families in the Alachua County Public Schools system. We help parents understand their child's IEP or 504 plan, prepare for annual reviews and eligibility meetings, and advocate for the accommodations and services their child needs. We're familiar with ACPS procedures and the unique academic culture of the Gainesville area.
Absolutely. We serve families throughout North Central Florida, including Marion County, Ocala, Lake City, and surrounding communities. Virtual coaching makes it easy for families outside Gainesville proper to access the same high-quality executive functioning and ADHD support. In-person sessions are available in the Gainesville area.
Yes. Gainesville's connection to UF means many families here have children with high academic potential who still struggle with executive functioning. We work with UF faculty and staff families, as well as graduate students who are parents, to support their children's unique needs in Alachua County schools and beyond.
Yes. We offer in-person coaching for Gainesville, Alachua, Newberry, and nearby North Central Florida families. Virtual sessions are also available across Florida. Many Gainesville families find that a combination works well — starting in-person for assessment and then moving to virtual for ongoing support.
Many can. We are an approved Step Up For Students provider, and eligible families in Alachua, Marion, and Columbia counties may be able to use Family Empowerment Scholarship or Unique Abilities scholarship funds for our coaching and advocacy services. We recommend confirming your specific eligibility with Step Up For Students before starting.
Tutoring focuses on academic content — math, science, reading. Our executive functioning coaching focuses on the skills that make learning possible: how to start tasks, manage time, organize materials, regulate emotions, and plan ahead. Many Gainesville students are bright but struggle because they lack these foundational skills. We build those skills so your child can meet the high academic expectations common in this area.
